Description:
One of the most incredible sessions I've experienced, proving yet again that winters the most magical season. Flawless 6ft groundswell slabs running across the bank, combined with a freak golden hour glass-off. Emerald green caves into the sunset offered surreal visions and loads of tube time. I left my camera on the beach as I could feel the magic in the air pre-paddle. After packing one too many closeouts for the day, my noodled arms and I called it, just past sundown. I ripped off my gloves and in true Cold-Shot fashion shot photos in my wetsuit with freezing wet hands for 20 minutes, reflecting on an epic day of surfing. Perfect glassy barrels still rifling down the bank, illuminated by the molten winter sky! A day and session that could never be forgotten! My hands are still thawing, well worth the captured memories though!
