Can someone please tell me how the best film markers in surfing constantly have New York’s Leif Engstrom in every movie they have put out in the last two years, but the surf media does not pick up on this ? Lets get this story out !
Leif is one of the funniest guys to be around, just a happy soul. You will never hear him talk negative and his surfing speaks for itself.
The goal of producing these films is to bring everyone the best surfing on the planet. The best in the business want him in their movies to help inspire the youth and show the world what great surfing is. It is a true accomplishment to be on this level.
When we first sat down with Leif 3 years ago we asked him what his goals were ? He simply said “I want to be in a Taylor Steele film.”
Well kid, You have done that and more. No matter what fame might or might not come. The people that care about surfing, the people that make the movies and the people around you, all know the deal. Leif Engstrom is one of the best surfers on the planet. If you don’t believe us ask Taylor Steele what he thinks.
