NY native and lifetime surfer John Beattie is coming into the final stages of a film he has been working on for 3 years. After surviving a stroke in 2007 he was left with weakness in his right arm and leg. That has kept him out of the water, but his love and focus went right into capturing video of some beautiful surf days along the coast of Long Island.
