Description:
I saw a surfer out the other day as I passed Long Sands Beach and I quickly pulled over and grabbed my gear. This was the first shutter click and there is a lesson to be learned from it. This single moment was opportunity + experience + luck = result, luck being the key element. That curl in the wave and the position of the surfer, I have no control over. Taking the opportunity to grab a shot, coupled with my growing experience I do have full control over but it starts with wanting to do so in the first place. Lesson learned, I am glad I stopped when I did.
