Community Call — Send It In

There’s no single version of New York surf.

It’s early alarms in the dark.
Wind that doesn’t cooperate.
Flat weeks that test your patience.
And the rare mornings when everything lines up.

Most of it doesn’t get documented. Or it gets lost in camera rolls, texts, and group chats.

We want to change that.

NYSEA is building a living, evolving look at what surfing here actually feels like—across seasons, across breaks, across conditions.

Not just the highlight reel. Everything.

If you’re checking the cams before work, filming sessions with your friends, pulling up to the beach just to watch, or paddling out when it’s barely there—you’re already part of it.

Now we’re asking you to send it in.

Clips. Photos. Quick reports. Observations. Good days. Bad days. In-between days.

This place isn’t defined by perfect waves. It’s defined by the people who keep showing up.

NYSEA is just the platform. The culture comes from you.

How to contribute:
Send clips, photos, or notes via DM or through the link below. We’re looking for ongoing contributors as well—people who are out there regularly and want to help document it.

No pressure for perfection. Just real New York surf.
