As the event concluded and Leif was sprayed down with some cold beers, it was easy to say that the NYSEA Pro Open was a perfect way to kick off the 6th annual New York Surf Week. Followed by a mini ramp skate jam presented by Red Bull, beach concerts presented by RAISED FIST PROPAGANDA and performed by The Shipwrecks, Disfunction, The Montauk Project, Groundswell, Wyona, and DJ Lexx, autograph signings, boardwalk fairs, Surf 4 All charity events, and other parties that stretched until Sunday.
